Refresher Courses are Zoom-based courses designed to “refresh” portions of the Steward training curriculum.  While they’re open to any AFSCME member in good standing, they’re specifically designed for AFSCME elected officers and leaders and for those who have previously gone through an AFSCME Steward training. 

Topic:                   Interviewing a Grievant/Knowing and Using Your Contract

This one-hour refresher will cover those portions of the Steward training dedicated to interviewing a Grievant and learning how to use your contract when filing a grievance.
