Western Massachusetts Office

The Western Massachusetts office services our members in a territory that stretches from North Adams on the New York/Vermont border, to the Springfield/Northampton area, into the Worcester area and into Ayer and Townsend not far from Nashua, NH. The Department Staff service our members by negotiating contracts, assisting them in grievance handling, filing Charges of Prohibited Practice when necessary and generally assisting the Local leadership in protecting their members' rights under their respective collective bargaining agreements. Our members are DPW workers, Housing Authority workers, City and School secretaries and administrative assistants, librarians, as well as police officers and emergency dispatchers. They are the people that make Western Mass Happen!
