The Vermont AFL-CIO is hosting a Steward's Training for all Union Stewards!

Are you a new Steward? Or are you a Steward looking to brush up on your skills? Want to learn how to build a more powerful union as a Steward? Then, the Labor Notes Steward training is for you!

During our one-day training, you will learn the following:

1. Steward Basics: The role of a steward, what makes for a good steward, basic rights and responsibilities.
2. Grievance Handling: Identifying grievances, learning Just Cause, investigating grievances, and submitting information requests.
3. Stewards as Organizers: How Stewards can get others involved and use grievances to organize.

The training is in person only and will take place in the Fletcher Room of the Fletcher Free Library.

Coffee and lunch will be provided.

The workshop is FREE and open to all union members.There is limited space, so please register to reserve your spot.
