January 2026 Refresher Training

During our next Refresher Training we will discuss union dues. We know that Local leaders get many questions from members about dues beyond how much it is. Questions like:

• What is my dues used for?
• Why does it go up every January?
• How are increases calculated?
• How does AFSCME dues compare to other unions?

And more! The purpose of this Refresher will be to make sure the Local leaders – Presidents, Stewards, Chapter Chairs and others – can answer member questions about dues. 

As always, the class is free to members in good standing, but we do ask that you register by January 20th. After you register, a calendar invite with a Zoom link will be emailed to you. We look forward to seeing you on the 21st!
