Financial Standards Code / Treasurers Training Workshop

Council 93 will be conducting a Financial Standards Code / Treasurers Training Workshop on Saturday, April 25. 2026 All Local Union Presidents, Treasurers, Trustees and Executive Board members are welcome to attend. Newly elected officers are strongly urged to attend as the training is an excellent introduction to the financial responsibilities of local union officers. 

The next session will be held at the Council 93 Headquarters, 116 Flanders Road, Westborough, MA 01851 April 25, 2026. A block of guest rooms has been reserved for those who are coming from a distance and wish to stay overnight on Friday at the DoubleTree by Hilton Boston/Westborough located at 5400 Computer Dr in Westborough. The hotel has offered a rate to AFSCME Council 93 of $166.43 single/double occupancy (includes applicable state occupancy tax of 11. 7% & fees). 

Reservation forms should be sent to the Council 93 Business Office and must be received no later than April 7, 2026.

The registration fee is $50.00 per person for each member attending the training. Your payment should be made payable to AFSCME Council 93 and sent to the attention of Julie Taylor, Business Manager, AFSCME Council 93, 8 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02108 along with the enclosed registration form. Coffee breaks and a luncheon buffet will be provided. Workshop registration begins at 8:00 am. The training begins at 9:00 am and will end at approximately 4:00 pm.
