Federal Changes Sector Trainings
On July 4th the President signed the Reconciliation Bill passed by Congressional Republicans into law. This law is likely to have a profound effect on our members, both as employees and as Americans. For this reason, Council 93 is conducting a member education campaign so our members can understand what the law does and how it might impact them.
We will conduct a series one-hour, Zoom-based trainings so our members can learn about the law and its impacts. Each session is tailored to different segments of our membership depending on the sector they work in. The training is free to all members in good standing, but we do ask that folks register in advance.
We’re under attack by billionaires and anti-union extremists who want to destroy the public services we provide and roll back laws that protect our health and safety at work, our job security – even the freedom to join a union. But we’re not going to let that happen. It’s our hard work – not corporate greed – that makes our communities stronger.

- October 1st, 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Higher Education Sector Training- REGISTER
- October 8th – 6:00 – 7:00 pm – Municipal Sector Training- REGISTER
