Today, members of the McLean United organizing committee and Council 93 organizers filed a petition for union election with the National Labor Relations Board! Working against poor staffing, high turnover rates, frequent mandates, low pay, the working people of McLean Hospital have pushed through to make a difference for the co-workers, hospital, and most importantly the patients they care deeply about!

Facing an intense anti-union campaign from their employer and a $400/hr union avoidance consultant, the clinical staff have talked to hundreds of their co-workers and joined together to have a voice on the job!

Read more about the pressure these workers have faced in this story from the Boston Globe.
