Boston, MA- Yesterday, the American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Council 93 Boston Presidents’ Committee endorsed Mayor Michelle Wu in her re-election campaign for Mayor of Boston in the 2025 Municipal Elections. Mayor Wu received the endorsement based off her long-time commitment to and advocacy for public service employees as both a City Councilor and now Mayor.
Council 93 represents nearly 5,000 union workers across multiple city departments, state and county agencies, and hospital facilities in the City of Boston, AFSCME members provide a wide range of basic services that residents rely on.
