Tentative Agreement Summary

- 3-Year Contract starting from the date of ratification
- Economics
- New Wage Scale with guaranteed annual step raises
- Potential for up to 5.75 % wage adjustment in the first year after full years of service in a related field/position are credited and placed on the new wage scale
- Shift Differentials
- Nights $4.25/hr
- Weekends $3.00/hr
- Evening $2.00/hr
- Critical Staffing Pay Differential
- Weekends $16.00/hr
- Weekdays $8.00/hr
- Day of Event PayDifferential $10.00/hr
- Float $1.00/hr
- Radio $0.50/hr
- Weekend Pay Package (16-hours work=24-hours pay or 20-hours work=28-hours pay)
- $250 Ratification Payment for all employees hired before October 1, 2023 (paid within 30-days of ratification)
- Quality of Life Upgrades
- Safety language that includes training and protective gear to keep workers safe
- Right to 30-minute unpaid meal breaks written into the contract
- Access to a pre-tax MBTA pass
- No loss of pay to attend lectures, seminars, workshops, or trainings that are pre-approved by supervisor
- Materials and expenses for trainings (including mileage, parking, and travel time)
